Major shoutout to community member Pat Farrell for bringing bluegrass back to Northern Liberties’ Bourbon & Branch! It’s been nearly six years since banjos last rang out upstairs at Bourbon & Branch but the wait is finally over.
The reboot kicks off August 22 with Western North Carolina’s The Asheville Mountain Boys, and Farrell’s own band, Phillygrass, as the opener. Details here.
From 2015 to 2019, Bourbon & Branch hosted some serious talent: Mile Twelve, Twisted Pine, The Plate Scrapers, Sam Amidon, Meadow Mountain, and many more. Now it’s ready to pick up where it left off.
