Philly Bluegrass Receives Grant from The Philadelphia Cultural Fund
March 27, 2019 — Philly Bluegrass has received its first institutional grant funding, in the form of a 2019 Art & Culture Grant from The Philadelphia Cultural Fund. Philly Bluegrass is one of 28 first-time applicants that received awards in the latest round. (Read the announcement.) This year’s grantee list is the largest in the Fund’s 28-year history.
As Philly Bluegrass is a charitable project of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia, all money raised is used to support Philly Bluegrass’ mission to promote the creation, performance, and appreciation of bluegrass and roots music through community-building activities in the Greater Philadelphia area.
